FLAP DISCS
Flap discs offer right angle grinding versatility with a product that can grind and finish in a single operation. The abrasive flaps are adhered to a rigid backing plate. It is the back plate that provides stability during operation with cooler cut, less vibration and smoother finish without gouging. Flap discs are well-suited to stock removal through blending applications. Cape Diamond offer Flap Discs in the popular size of 115mm that easily fit onto your small grinder and quickly help you get the job done!

ROLLS
Abrasive rolls can be used for manual sanding or on specific machines, as orbital straight sanders, sanding blocs or drum sanders. High performance abrasives make these rolls ideal for light deburring, blending operations, and for sanding and finishing and superfinishing depending on the backing type.
SPIRAL BANDS
AND MANDRELS
Spiral bands are used for finishing hard-to-reach areas and removing parting lines and burrs on all surfaces. Spiral bands are easy to remove and replace and can achieve close tolerances when finishing curved or contoured parts. Spiral Bands fit onto a rubber mandrel which then are used in an Electric or Pneumatic die grinder or similar power tool.

WHEELS
Flap Wheels are typically used in metal fabrication and welding applications especially when you need a conformable product that can grind and polish intricate shapes and contours. A continuous series of individual flaps work to provide a uniform finish as the flaps wear away to expose fresh abrasive. WATER
PAPER SHEETS
Paper sheets can be cut to fit most power sanders or folded for optimum product life when hand sanding. Our paper sheets work well on many types of surfaces for medium- to light-duty applications. Some can even be used “wet”. Cape Diamond offer Water-paper Sheets in grits from 80 through to 2500 grit and Non-Clogging sheets for sanding wood, lacquer sprayed surfaces, fibreglass and composites.
